There are two ways to make your views known to the WV Public Service Commission (WVPSC). You can be an intervenor or a protestant.
Intervenors request to appear before the commission, present testimony, examine witnesses, and the like. You do not have to be a lawyer to be an intervenor. The deadline to request this status is April 30, 2007. There are expenses involved in being an intervener. At the least, any communication an intervener makes with the commission or another intervener must be copied to all other intervenors.

Protestants are those who send protest letters to the commission. Letters may be sent at any time.

THEY DO HAVE IMPACT.
Communication by intervenors or protestants must be sent to the commission via mail of some form. Email is not acceptable. Communication may be hand written or typed and it should reference case number 07-0508-E-CN
